Non Gamstop Casinos is an independent research and review site for adults in the UK who want to understand casinos that operate outside GamStop. We explain how these sites work, what their bonuses really require, how payments and withdrawals usually run, and what protections you do and do not have. This page covers who we are, how we assess operators, and how we make money.

What we do and who we write for

Our readers are adults aged 18 and over, mostly in Great Britain. Some know a lot about online gambling. Many do not. So we explain terms such as wagering requirements, source-of-funds checks and overseas licences in plain English, without assuming prior knowledge.

Our coverage includes:

  • Casino reviews and comparison tables
  • Bonus guides: welcome bonuses, deposit bonuses, free spins, cashback and loyalty rewards
  • Payments: debit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, cryptocurrency, fees and currency conversion
  • Games: slots, progressive jackpots, live dealer, blackjack, roulette and baccarat
  • Sports betting and esports betting, including pre-match and in-play markets
  • Account safety: verification, complaints, limits and self-exclusion tools

Our main comparison is on the page Non GamStop Casinos 2026 – Best Online Casinos UK.

What "not on GamStop" actually means

GamStop is the national self-exclusion scheme for gambling companies licensed by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC). A site that is not on GamStop does not take part in that scheme. Signing up to GamStop therefore does not block you from it.

Such sites usually hold a licence from another jurisdiction, for example Curaçao. That is not the same as UKGC authorisation. Accepting British customers is also not the same as being authorised to serve them. Overseas licensees are not bound by UKGC rules, and UK complaint routes and protections may not apply to them. We say this openly because it affects how much risk you take on.

If you have excluded yourself from gambling, these sites are not a good fit. Please read our Responsible Gambling page, and consider support from GamCare or blocking software.

How we research and rate casinos

We have no evidence of hands-on testing to offer, and we do not claim it. Our ratings come from desk research and review of each operator's published information. Facts are checked as of 30 September 2026, and we date time-sensitive findings where we can.

  1. Licensing and ownership: which licence an operator states, who appears to run it, and whether this can be verified through official sources.
  2. Bonus terms: wagering requirements, game contribution, maximum bonus bet, expiry dates and cashout limits, read alongside the headline offer.
  3. Payments: minimum deposits, GBP account availability, fees, currency conversion and stated withdrawal processing times and limits.
  4. Games and betting: slots, live dealer and table games, software providers, sportsbook coverage and shared wallets.
  5. Player protection: verification rules, limits, self-exclusion tools, complaints procedures and customer support.

We separate three kinds of information: what we have confirmed, what the casino advertises, and what remains unresolved. An advertised offer or processing time is not a guarantee. Our editorial ratings are our own assessments. They are not customer review scores.

How we make money

We may earn a commission when you register with an operator through a link on this site. That income funds the work. Commission does not buy position or a better rating, and operators cannot pay for a higher ranking. Every recommendation carries drawbacks, including our top choices.

The casinos you will see on our lists

Our selections are supplied by the publisher and currently include Betmica, Kikibet, Betninja, WinnerIsland, Zombillion, Smash Casino, Nightluck, CoinPoker, Rivo and Daytonaspin. Headline offers are in a range of currencies (pounds, euros and dollars). Some may mean currency conversion and fees if your account is not in GBP. Always open the full terms before you deposit.

What we will not do

  • Call any casino completely safe
  • Promise withdrawals, winnings or a particular outcome
  • Present gambling as income or a fix for money problems
  • Name operators we have not researched

Gambling should be paid for from spare money. Set deposit and loss limits, and stop if it stops being fun.
